Attorneys
Margaret Madison Phelan is
an attorney licensed to practice law in Washington and Oregon.
Margaret graduated from the University of Iowa, University of Hawaii
and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. Margaret
was admitted to the Oregon bar in 1986.
Since 1992 Margaret has focused her practice in Vancouver WA on the
long term care planning needs of seniors and persons with disabilities.
Margaret is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
She is past-president of the Washington chapter of NAELA, having
received its Most Valuable Member award in 2003. Margaret is also
a past board member of the Washington State Bar Elder Law Section, past
Secretary of the Clark County Bar Association and has served on the
Oregon State Bar Elder Law Section. Currently she serves on an
ethics panel of a local hospital.
Karen L. Webber is
an attorney licensed to practice law in Washington and Oregon.
She was admitted to practice in Oregon in 2003 and in Washington in
2004. Karen is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and
Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. She has a
varied background including several years of experience with a national
trust company as well as working for our offices while a law student.
Karen is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Oregon State
Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, American Bar
Association, Washington Women Lawyers, PEO, an International Women's
Organization and The George & Donald Simpson American Inn of Court.
